At Porter Dental Health Clinic, we offer the best of current technology to our patients. Some of our services and tools are: oral cancer screenings, Diagnodent, digital x-rays, 3D cone beam scanner x-ray unit, intraoral cameras, diode laser, and Opalescence Boost In Office Whitening.
Oral Cancer Screenings
We perform this as part of our regular, routine examination. We will look for signs of cancer or precancerous conditions in your mouth. Early detection is key in effective treatment.
Digital X-rays
Using an electronic sensor, we will take pictures of your mouth. These pictures will enable us to better assess the overall condition and health of your teeth. An added benefit is that digital x-rays use less radiation than traditional ones. This results in a safer procedure for everyone.
3D Cone Beam Scanner X-ray unit
With our 3D cone beam scanner x-ray unit, we can take even better pictures of your mouth. This model of scanner lets us construct a 3D image of your mouth, giving us an even better view of your teeth. We can use this technology to map the inside of your mouth prior to intensive procedures.
Intraoral Cameras
These little cameras fit comfortably inside your mouth and give us a close-up view of your teeth. This technology is especially useful when we need to plan precise procedures or check on the status of your treatment.
Diode Laser
Some dental procedures can be performed more quickly and more efficiently with lasers than with traditional dental tools. Specifically, a diode laser lets us perform minor surgeries quickly and comfortably.

Primescan/ 3Shape Trios Scanner
A Dental intraoral scanner that creates 3D models of a patient’s teeth and bite. We use these scanners to:

- Monitor oral diseases like caries, tooth wear, and periodontal disease
- Create digital models of teeth for orthodontic treatment planning and crown/ bridge restorations
